This is the website of origiful, aka Ian Padgham. It is filled with drawings, sketchbooks, illustrations, paintings, comics, flash animations, and flash games. It is also the home of my painted bags: a project started in Paris and now located in San Francisco. The Painted bags are a collection of handmade bags and sacks that I paint using acrylic paint - they are a recycled green art project that promotes creativity in everyday life while also stressing the importance of not wasting! I often do art shows with my handbags and handpainted sacks :) Also, on the site there are youtube videos that have been incredibly succesful and popular, videos from film festivals, and funny claymation movies. Check out links to many different San Francisco artists, works for sale, and artwork simply for the sake of art. I try to do a lot of gallery shows in San Francisco, and if you are interested in showing my work, please contact me! I do painting shows on canvas with oil and acrylic paints, I do shows with sketches and pen and ink illustrations, charcoal drawing, life drawings, and comic art. I currently live and paint and make art in the Mission district of San Francisco.
